A new double concerto for Sheng (Chinese Mouth Organ) and Cello was premiered by Sheng master Wu Wei and Cellist Jeroen Den Herder along with members of the Concertgebouw Orchestra at the Cello Festival Zutphen in the Netherlands.

World Premier concert performance of new opera Golden Lily (2014-9) Act One Scene 1&2: features Soprano Shannon Kessler Dooley (as Golden Lily), Counter-tenor Lyndon England (as Idiot), Bass-baritone Jacob Will (as Wu Erlang), as well as Chinese instrumentalists Chen Yihan (Pipa) and Dai Zifan (Sheng) with USC Wind Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Scott Weiss. Curated by Opera at USC director Ellen Schlaefer.

A Folktale of the Four Dragons II (2012-3) for Solo Flute with Narration was composed to celebrate the birth of my son Steven Wen Sun, which was premiered at the Symphony Space in New York in 2013. This performance is by Jennifer Parker-Harley at Uof SC's School of Music.
